This book is a raw, emotional journey of losing a child to suicide and it is a book that everyone should read. I have the utmost respect for Carla putting it all out there for everyone to see, first on her Facebook page, and now in this book. This is as real as it gets and it is this type of openness that will allow us as a society to talk about mental illness and suicide.
A brave accounting of an inconceivable event that any parent would never hope to experience. Carla Howatt has generously shared a most personal and emotionally trying encounter with grief. This publication brings a greater understanding to yet another facet of life that no one wishes to speak about. Very well done Carla!
