There was an amazing leap from the first to the second; I wasn’t expecting to be surprised again. This one moves to a complete different direction, taking both characters into a new dimension.I’ll be the first to admit: I didn’t like Avery; who could? She seemed rather slutty, self-centered and not so clever; there was no way I could actually relate to her. Now she seems to actually stop and think; don’t get me wrong, she’s still a spoilt madam and a bit of a brat, but it makes her real.
I’m loving the excruciating miscommunication which is so realistic, too! God, how many times have I been there? Wondering and stopping myself from spilling things out, out of some sort of fear… We just want to shout at them, tell them to speak!
Regret was gripping, delightfully frustrating and (yet again) hot. The end is just cruel. Seriously, I NEED to know what’s next!!

The events in Regret make you really start to love Avery. The love she has for both Celeste and Reese makes you want to really feel for her situation. Gotta love a girl that is always worried about her friends. Although this book makes me like Avery more, it had me really concerned about Reese. Control freak much? I would run.
This series is sizzling hot. Avery is an 18 year old college student with designs on the tall, dark and handsome football coach, Reese, at her university. He's 35 years old and friends with her dad. Oops. But fiery Avery isn't deterred and is willing to push the envelope to seduce Reese. While she finds mind blowing sex and the end of her virginity, she also finds a lot she wasn't expecting. This review is for a seven part series of short stories, all currently available. As a bonus, each book has tantalizing excerpts at the end.
